England have announced a 15-member squad for the one-off Test matches against Australia in the upcoming Ashes series at home. Batting all-rounder Heather Knight was named the captain, while uncapped players Lauren Filer and Danielle Gibson received their maiden call to the national team.

England will host a one-off Test, followed by a three-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series against Australia, with the multiformat series starting on June 22. The Test will be England’s first five-day game on their home soil and their first red-ball game at Trent Bridge in Nottingham since 2000.
