England vs Oman Scorecard and Highlights: Post-match comments
Jos Buttler - England Captain: The tone was set very well by the bowlers by picking up those early wickets and restricting them to that total. We’ve got another big game in two days. I thought they bowled brilliantly. There was some extra bounce, thought they bowled really good lines and lengths. There was some spin, don’t think any of us expected the surface to play like it did. Adil bowled exceptionally well. The message was to be ultra positive. We spoke of taking our chances to boost our NRR. We know what’s going in the dressing room, there’s huge confidence. (On the SCO v AUS game) We can only focus on ourselves, we have a huge game up against Namibia and our focus is on that.
Aqib Ilyas - Oman Captain: Nothing much to say, it is visible. We couldn’t do well with the bat. Top order couldn’t score runs throughout the tournament. It was good exposure but there wasn’t much we could do. With no runs on the board, the bowlers didn’t have a chance. We’re used to playing bowlers that bowl in the 130-140kph range in associate cricket. So it’s difficult when once in a year you play against bowlers bowling 150+, there is something in your mind. It’s a different thing when you’re used to playing such bowlers. You don’t really see fielders so up (close) playing against associates. The batters were also under pressure having not got runs in the last few games. Unfortunately bad shot selection and they bowled in good areas. You can’t blame the bowlers for anything, throughout the tournament they’re the ones that did really well. Would have liked to finish on a great note. We have a lot to learn from the big players. Usually you don’t get to learn from top players so this was a great opportunity to rub shoulders with them. We have to work harder, if you want to have an impact you need to work a lot harder.
Adil Rashid - Player of the Match: Thought we bowled exceptionally well. Felt good to see that first ball turn so much. Obviously getting a wicket first ball sets the tone as well. I tried to adjust in the first over or so. It was spinning quite a bit so it was hard to keep it in the wickets, that meant I had to bowl outside leg a little bit. (On a 5-fer) Yea I was looking for it, if I got it great, if i didn't it was fine. We’re going to take it one game at a time. We’ve got Namibia next.

England vs Oman Live Score: Pitch Report by Nasser Hussain and Aaron Finch in their pitch report
Hot and humid in the middle and there’s a healthy breeze blowing across and it’s in the directon of the longer boundary. 64m on one side and 54m hitting into the breeze, the straight boundary is 74m. It’s very hard and very even, the English bowlers have to make an adjustment from Barbados. The bowlers have to target the 5-6m area to get purchase. It’s harder and the quicks will enjoy it, reckon Nasser Hussain and Aaron Finch in their pitch report
England vs Oman Live Score: Comments at toss
Oman Captain - Aqib Ilyas: We wanted to bowl first but we can't depend on the toss, it's a flat surface so hopefully our batters do well. Results are not always that important, sometimes it is but we need to take the positives. We have been bowling well but we have to improve our fielding, we have dropped many catches and that has hurt us. We have one change - Fayyaz Butt comes in.
England Captain - Jos Buttler: We are going to bowl first today, looks like a good wicket. We need to try and win the game today. We are focused on today and we need to show up. Little bit, most importantly we need to win the game. We have one change - Reece Topley comes in.

England (Team News)
England (ENG) started their tournament with a match against Scotland that was rained out. They then suffered a 36-run defeat to Australia, leaving them with just one point from their two games. Now, England must win convincingly against both Oman and Namibia and hope that Australia defeats Scotland.
England will come out all guns blazing in this encounter, and expect them to come out attacking both with the bat and ball. It will be interesting to see if England sticks with the same side as their first encounter or if will they make any changes to their lineup.
Oman (Team News)
Oman (OMN) have already been eliminated from the tournament after their third consecutive loss, this time to Scotland. With nothing left to play for, they will aim to spoil England's chances in their upcoming match.
They pose a threat if the pitch and conditions favour them in this encounter, they have it in them to topple a big team and this could very well be the game.

Pitch Report: Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua
The pitches will provide a lot of help for the bowlers and run-making will be difficult as the tournament has suggested so far. Recent weather conditions have been wet, potentially affecting pitch conditions on match day.
Antigua has been a bowler's paradise under lights for the team bowling second. Since this is an earlier start expect the captain to win the toss to bowl first. With the rains around and the pace attack that England has they will fancy their chances of batting second.
