Former Australian all-rounder Tom Moody took a brutal dig at England in the ongoing first Test match against India. Tom Moody criticized England skipper Ben Stokes for exhausting all three reviews within the first 14 overs of India???s first innings in the series opener.

The Ben Stokes-led team is currently facing the Rohit Sharma-led side in the first Test match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The English team opted to bat first on the spin-friendly pitch, with three specialist spin bowlers in their playing XI.

3 Reviews Gone In 13.2 Overs ??? Tom Moody

Tom Moody, on his social media account X (formerly known as Twitter), expressed his surprise at England???s use of three reviews within 13.2 overs. The former all-rounder made a comment on the efficiency of their Bazball approach during the first Test of the series.

???3 reviews gone in 13.2 overs, everything done in #Bazball time! #INDvENG,??? Tom Moody wrote.

The England team used all three reviews in India???s first innings. However, all three reviews were unsuccessful in the match. They took the first one for a caught-behind appeal in the third over off Mark Wood, but the replay indicated no nick from Yashasvi Jaiswal.

The Three Lions used their second review for a caught-behind appeal against Rohit Sharma. However, the replay showed a gap between the ball and Rohit???s outside edge. The ball deceived Rohit as it spun past the outside edge, leading to England losing their second review.

England took a chance on a LBW against Shubman Gill. However, the ball-tracking confirmed it was bouncing over the leg stump, resulting in England losing their third and final review. The batter didn???t read the ball while pressing forward off debutant Tom Hartley.

England???s first innings in the opening Test against India ended at 246 runs, despite the team struggling at 155/7 at one point. Captain Ben Stokes played a crucial role, leading from the front and contributing 70 runs off 88 deliveries, featuring three sixes and six boundaries.
