Pakistan National Cricket Team are all set to include Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq in the white-ball setup again. As per the reports in Pakistan media, it is learned that the duo will be making a comeback to the team during the upcoming tour to South Africa.
Pakistan National Cricket Team sidelined Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq from the white-ball teams. Both the players were subjected to different scenarios for getting dropped. While the former was dropped for his issues with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Iman was excluded from the team after the ICC World Cup 2023.

Coming to the Imam-ul-Haq, the left-hander was dropped from the team after his poor performances in the ICC World Cup 2023. The left-hander played the first few games in the tournament but was dropped from the XI midway and, after that, didn't feature in the squad in ODIs. He has scored 3138 runs in just 72 matches.
Fakhar Zaman, the opening batter, came under the scanner after he tweeted for Babar Azam following the right-hander's omission from the Pakistan team for the Test squad against the England National Cricket Team. The opening batter urged the board not to drop star players as it sends a negative message.
Following that, the batter was issued the show cause notice by the Pakistan Cricket Board. He was dropped from the team after the tour to Australia and Zimbabwe, and not only this, he also was terminated from the 12-month central contracts.
The reports also claimed that Mohammad Rizwan has batted for the inclusion of Fakhar Zaman in the team. The keeper-batter wants the opening batter to return to the team, especially with the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will take place in Pakistan, around the corner.

In the ongoing series against Australia, Pakistan has made some massive changes to the team as well. The newly appointed skipper, Mohammad Rizwan, was spot on with his leadership skills, although the team didn't manage to win the first ODI against the Australia National Cricket Team.
