KL Rahul
Rahul leaving LSG is almost official news. After what transpired between him and Sanjeev Goenka it was quite evident that the management might not want to continue with Rahul at the held as skipper.
Goenka's harsh reaction came after LSG lost to SRH by 10 wickets as the Super Giants owner was not very happy with how he led the team in that particular game. There are reports that he might join RCB and eventually lead the team next year.
Deepak Hooda
After his 451-run season for LSG in IPL 2022, Hooda has scored 84 and 145 in the next two seasons for the franchise. Hooda's all-around potential was not utilized by the franchise well enough. He has struggled to bat in whichever position he has been asked to bat.
His form has been a concern and that he is not close to being selected for India also might work against his favour. He has done his reputation a lot of harm by not taking the chances presented to him.
Amit Mishra
Mishra will turn 42 by the time the IPL starts next year. He was used as an Impact Player by LSG in almost all of the games he played. The rule will allow players like him and Piyush Chawla to be used as a surprise weapon by the bowling captain. However, if the rule is not in play next year,
Mishra in all likelihood will be released by LSG. He is still among the top wicket-takers in the tournament with with 174 wickets. He is still 26 shy of 200 IPL wickets.
