Suryakumar Yadav mocked after another toss loss at Brisbane

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav walked out to the middle alongside the Australian skipper Mitchell Marsh. Suryakumar had won the only toss back in Hobart, where the coin flipped and fell in his favour, but not this time over at Brisbane.

The Australian skipper won the toss and was acknowledged with a broad smile by Suryakumar. They opted to bowl against India. After the toss, Gautam Gambhir was seen sharing a fun chat with the skipper in the middle of the pitch.

Jasprit Bumrah nodded his head and clapped, as he could not do much more than laugh about Suryakumar and India's misfortunes at the toss.

Abhishek Sharma surpasses Suryakumar Yadav in T20 record for India

Indian left-handed opening batsman Abhishek Sharma has made an undeniable impact in international T20 cricket since his debut for India back in 2024. He has surpassed 1000 runs and scored two centuries in his short career so far.

Abhishek Sharma surpassed Suryakumar Yadav's formerly held record of fastest to 1000 runs in terms of number of deliveries faced. Suryakumar previously held the record for India and the fastest ever in the history of the shortest format of the game.

Abhishek got to his thousand runs in just 528 balls, while Suryakumar Yadav himself had held the record of 573 balls to reach the big milestone. They are followed by the likes of other cricketers Phil Salt, Jos Buttler and Glenn Maxwell in the list.

Abhishek Sharma was dropped twice by the Aussies in the series decider

Abhishek Sharma came out to bat and is having the fortunes in his favour as he has been dropped twice by the mighty Aussies. In the very first over of the game from Ben Dwarshius, the great Australian all-rounder and one of the finest fielders of the modern day, dropped Abhishek for just 4 runs.

Next time, Ben Dwarshius dropped Abhishek Sharma just after two overs in the very first over bowled by the highest wicket-taker in the series, Nathan Ellis. He then smacked Ellis for a massive six over the mid-wicket boundary with a nice full-of his shoulders.
