Get Well Soon: Sachin Tendulkar Shares A Special Message For Sourav Ganguly

Former Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar joined a plethora of people in wishing Sourav Ganguly quick recovery. On Saturday, Sourav Ganguly was hospitalized after he complained of chest pain. While the BCCI President remains clear of any serious condition, the cricket fraternity quickly wished him a speedy recovery from a minor cardiac arrest. Sachin Tendulkar took to his official Twitter handle wholly desired the same.
Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly have forged several memorable partnerships in Test and ODI cricket, specifically in 50-over cricket as they used to open the innings. Tendulkar and Ganguly were arguably one of the best and successful opening combinations in One-day international cricket. Having played together for more than a decade, the pair naturally share an excellent bond.
In terms of runs, Ganguly and Tendulkar top the chart for an opening pair in 50-over cricket with 6609 runs in 136 runs at 49.32 along with 21 century and 23 half-century hands. Meanwhile, as it emerged earlier, Sourav Ganguly underwent angioplasty and is stable but will need monitoring of 24 hours. Dr Aftab Khan of Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata revealed that there are two blockages in his heart for which he would be treated.
