Harbhajan Singh makes humongous prediction for Rashid Khan's Afghanistan as he names T20 World Cup 2024 finalists

Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh made his predictions for the finalists of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. As per the legendary bowler, the Rohit Sharma-led side will win the tournament and along with them, Afghanistan will be finalists.

The T20 World Cup 2024 has reached its business end. After the exciting league and the Super 8 stage, we have got the four semi-finalists for the tournament. India, England, Afghanistan, and South Africa are the only teams left in the event and after tomorrow only two will be there as both the semi-finals are around the corner.

The first semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2024 will see South Africa taking on Afghanistan. The match between the teams will take place at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad on Thursday (27th June). The two teams have been sensational in the tournament in the league stage and Super 8 stage and it promises to be an enthralling contest.

South Africa are undefeated so far in the T20 World Cup 2024. They have won all their games quite comfortably and would be high on confidence. Afghanistan on the other hand have beaten teams like New Zealand, and Australia and have earned their spot in the semi-finals and would be keen to go one step ahead.

In the second semi-final, India will be taking on England. The match between the Rohit Sharma-led side and the defending champions is all set to take place on Thursday (27th June) at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.

India is also undefeated in the tournament and has played a sensational brand of cricket and has been dominant in the league stage. They have delivered with both bat and ball and have looked a class apart in the tournament so far.

England too is in the red hot form. They came under pressure at the start of the tournament but after that, they haven't looked back. The Jos Buttler-led side came into the form at the right time and now would be keen to defend their title. They are the defending champions and with the way they have played, they would be confident of winning their second consecutive title.

With the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2024 around the corner, former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh was asked a couple of questions while he was traveling. The former off-spinner was asked about India's chances to win the semi-final. Replying to this, he backed the Rohit Sharma-led side to win the title. In a video shared by Instant Bollywood on Instagram, he stated:

"Jeetega bhai, India pakka jeetega (India will surely win)."

Harbhajan Singh was also asked about the Afghanistan team's chances, to which he stated that the Rashid Khan-led side will beat South Africa and play the final. He stated:

"Mujhe lagta hai woh bhi final me aayega (I think even they will make it to the final)."
