Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh has reacted after his old prediction about Gary Kirsten turned out to be true. Gary Kirsten has resigned as Pakistan coach just ahead of the white-ball tour in Australia.

Kirsten was appointed as white-ball coach in April this year for a two-year contract. However, the former South Africa legend quit the role after just six months.

His resignation arrived after Babar Azam quit Pakistan's captaincy in ODIs and T20Is. Mohammad Rizwan has been named the new skipper for Pakistan and will lead the side in the upcoming three ODIs and three T20Is against Australia.

Now, after Kirsten's resignation, Harbhajan Singh reposted the tweet of former Pakistan domestic player Kamil Khan on his X account.

The tweet had a photo of Harbhajan Singh's old comments when he urged Kirsten to leave the Pakistan Team and become India's Head Coach after the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Singh reacted to the post with a laughing emoji.

"Harbhajan Singh was aware of the complications Gary Kirsten might face in Pakistan. Kirsten is a world review coach, who won the 2011 World Cup with India.
