Veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh was recently accused of cropping MS Dhoni out of his 2007 T20 World Cup celebration post. The 40-year-old didn’t hold back in shutting down the troll.
India won the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup on September 24 in 2007, defeating arch-rivals Pakistan in Johannesburg. Harbhajan Singh took to Twitter and shared a picture of the team lifting the title.
“When your FAITH becomes stronger than your FEAR … then your dream can become a reality #champions #T20WorldCup2007 #TeamIndia,” he captioned the image.

However, the image didn’t go down well with a section of fans as the then skipper MS Dhoni was not seen in it.
Apparently, Harbhajan Singh morphed a trophy emoji on the bottom left side of the picture. After coming across the post, the fan felt that Dhoni has been hidden by the spinner with that trophy emoji and hence can’t be seen, hinting at a certain rift between the two.
“Nice Bhai Nicely Croped MSD Photo,” a fan by username @SibiKvs commented.
That specific allegation by the fan – of cropping out Dhoni from the celebration photo – left the 40-year-old former Chennai Super Kings spinner unhappy.
Harbhajan Singh replied to the user back, by posting the original photo, which revealed that the cropped image was of a broadcaster person and not MS Dhoni. He even trolled the user back with a snarky comment.

Harbhajan Singh was a crucial part of the Indian team in the tournament. He snapped 7 wickets while bowling at an economy of 7.91. The off-spinner, under MS Dhoni, lifted the 2011 World Cup at home as well.
He then played under Dhoni at CSK in the 2018 and 2019 IPL seasons when he picked up 23 wickets in those two seasons.
He was later released and was brought by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2021 auction. This year, the experienced off-spinner has played 3 games but went wicketless in all three while leaked runs at 9 per over.
