While Indian captain Virat Kohli credited Ishan Kishan and the bowling unit to shape India’s win over England in the second T20I on Sunday, he did not forget Hardik Pandya. After hardly bowling since his international return, Hardik Pandya has started doing it alongside providing batting fireworks. Virat Kohli revealed that the 27-year old has committed himself towards being a proper all-rounder in the series.

Hardik Pandya bowled only two overs in the opening game, before which he managed 19 runs as India lost to England by eight wickets. Nevertheless, the Baroda-born all-rounder delivered his full quota of overs and gave away only 33 runs, albeit without claiming any victim. While he has played only as a finisher since returning to international cricket, Hardik revealed he would bowl against England.

You will see me bowling in this series,”. Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli struck half-centuries to gun down 165 in 17.5 overs.
