The right-arm pacer had to leave the field during the match against New Zealand last week due to a potential rib sprain. Recently, he underwent tests at a local hospital in Kolkata after complaining of discomfort in his ribs, according to Cricket Pakistan.

He is now in a race against time to be fit for the game. The game is scheduled to take place on Saturday (November 11) and the Pakistan team management would be hoping that Haris Rauf recovers in time. While the pacer has not really managed to do well in the competition so far, he does have the ability to change the course of a game in a matter of few deliveries.

Things have just not worked out for the bowler in the World Cup so far. He entered the competition as one of the best white-ball bowlers in the world but has failed to live up to the expectations.
