Harry Brook starts the Pakistan tour with a ton

Brook, who scored three centuries on the last tour to Pakistan, has started the 2024 series with another hundred. The batter looked in sensational touch in the ongoing game. He has continued his golden form and is making sure he keeps his team in the hunt.

Brook came to bat at No.5, and since then, he has batted with a positive mindset. The right-hander has put Pakistan National Cricket Team bowlers under immense pressure. He, along with Joe Root, has hardly put a foot wrong for the team and has entertained the crowd.

Harry Brook, along with Joe Root, who also slammed a century and became the leading run-getter in Tests for England, has added an unbeaten 243 runs partnership. This is also the highest partnership for England for any wickets on Pakistan soil, bettering 233 runs added by Zak Crawley and Ben Ducket for the first wicket at Rawalpindi in 2022.

Harry Brook joins Brian Lara, Jacques Kallis, and David Warner as batters most consecutive tons against Pakistan.

Harry Brook, who is touted as England's future, slammed yet another Test hundred and ensured that he continues his fine form. This was his fourth Test hundred for the national team against the Pakistan National Cricket Team. He joined the likes of Brian Lara, Jacques Kallis, David Warner, and others as batters most consecutive tons against Pakistan.

With the kind of batting that he displayed, it won't be a surprise if he gets up, ending a double ton on Day 4 of the ongoing game against Pakistan National Cricket Team. We have all day tomorrow, go past them and then try to bowl them out on a day 5 pitch - Ben Duckett

Ben Duckett, who dislocated his thumb on Day 2 and batted at No.4 for England, talked about his innings and injury. He also opened up about the team's plan, saying that they have all the day tomorrow and then will be trying to bowl out Pakistan on Day 5. He also praised Joe Root for becoming the team's leading run-getter in Tests. He explained:

"It (the thumb) is alright. The doctor put it back in immediately, and I had a scan last evening, which didn't show anything. Yes, I am a little bit sore (after batting), but it is fine. Slightly different (batting at 4). I didn't really know what to do as I was waiting to go out to bat. On that wicket you don't need to leave too many balls. We keep batting.

"We have all day tomorrow, go past them and then try to bowl them out on a day 5 pitch. It is tough to know what to say about him (Root), he's gone past Sir Alastair, it is greatness we are seeing in front of our eyes but it does not feel that way while batting with him, he has been in the form of his life in the last 6 months."
