Harsha Bhogle presents IPL 2025 Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Team- Full awards list leaked

In a recent interview with Cricbuzz, Harsha Bhogle presented the IPL 2025 awards for the best batter, bowler, team, captain, shock, and many more.

Harsha Bhogle didn’t pick Virat Kohli as the best batter of IPL 2025. Bhogle credited the Punjab Kings, as PBKS was the team that surprised him most this season.

Bhogle credited SKY that he came in the middle order and maintaining the strike rate of 170 is a difficult thing to do in the T20.

Jasprit Bumrah was awarded the best bowler by Bhogle for his exceptional performance in the IPL 2025.

Bhogle was confused between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Punjab Kings and stated that RCB was good this season, but the turnaround from PBKS compared to their IPL history was brilliant. Harsha picked PBKS as the best team of IPL 2025.

Harsha thought the best skipper award was the easiest one, as he took Shreyas Iyer’s name immediately for the award. Iyer is the first player to take three different franchises into the playoffs.

Best Young Player, moment, and shock

Harsha was impressed with many young players in the IPL 2025. But Bhogle stated it’s impossible to look beyond ‘Chubby Cheek’ Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Bhogle also took Priyansh Arya's name as the best young talent this season.

14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s debut 100 was the best moment of the IPL 2025, according to Harsha Bhogle. Suryavanshi became the youngest batter to score a ton in the IPL.

Harsha named Mohammed Shami as the shock of the season because Bhogle expected Shami to have a 20-wicket season, but Shami had a forgettable journey in the IPL 2025 season.

Other awards

The Punjab Kings surprised Bhogle the most by their performances. He was impressed by the Indian core of PBKS, as they invest in the young players for next season as well. The way PBKS played this season was exceptional.

Punjab finished the league stage in first position after a decade and will play the Qualifier 1 against RCB.

The biggest underachievers were tagged to Sunrisers Hyderabad as they should have qualified easily for the playoffs, according to Harsha.

SRH were blanked out in the mid-way of the season and were knocked out before their last four matches. They made a splendid comeback after the suspension and won the last three matches consecutively, and also scored 278 runs in their last match against KKR.
