Kamlesh Nagarkoti is one of the exciting young Indian fast bowling talents that has come through the ranks in the past few years.
The right-handed pacer was Team India’s best bowler during their triumphant 2018 U-19 World Cup campaign.
Cummins recently conducted a Q & A session on Instagram where he was asked to name his favorite Indian bowlers.
The right-hander named pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah and the rookie Kamlesh Nagarkoti.
“I like watching (Jasprit) Bumrah bowl. And this youngster from KKR Kamlesh Nagarkoti, he is very good.” wrote Pat Cummins.
Pat Cummins was also asked to name his favorite IPL moment.
The Aussie pacer revealed the crazy scenes at the Eden Gardens, a day after Kolkata Knight Riders won the 2014 IPL as his most memorable moment.
“It was my first IPL in 2014. With Kolkata winning the title and then going to Eden Gardens the next day. To see a packed house, hundreds and thousands of fans on the streets was quite crazy.” recalled Cummins.
Cummins, who came into the last season on the back of being the most expensive foreign cricketer in the cash-rich, endured an average season last year.
He went wicketless in a lot of games before picking up some form at the backend. The Australian finished with just 12 wickets in 14 games at a strike rate of 26 and an economy rate of 7.86.
