"Headache for team management" - Twitter slams Rajat Patidar for yet another poor outing in Test cricket

Fans on Twitter reacted after India batter Rajat Patidar perished for another low total in Test cricket in the ongoing match against England. The fourth game of the five-match series between the teams is taking place at the Jharkhand Cricket Association complex in Ranchi. 

Rajat Patidar has yet again failed to make a mark as he couldn’t get going at all. The right-hander came to bat after India lost Shubman Gill (38) in the second session. With him having a series of low scores under his belt, it was expected that he would make his mark in the ongoing game. 

But the same story continued with Rajat Patidar as he got out after a start with the bat. He got in the 35th over as Shoaib Bashir trapped him in lbw to end giving him another low score in the longest format of the game for the India National Cricket Team.

Shoaib Bashir bowled a delivery that skidded through and beat Rajat Patidar on the back-foot defense. The batter was playing back to the delivery that spun in sharply and was beaten on the inside edge. He opted to review but it didn’t change anything. 

Rajat Patidar managed just 17 runs off 42 balls. He was looking good to the eyes and played some eye-catching strokes. With the way he started his innings, it gave a sigh of hope to his fans but it proved out to be another disappointing outing for him in Test cricket. 

The ongoing Test could well be the last opportunity for Rajat Patidar. He will be having one more innings to prove his worth. But with KL Rahul most likely to return for the fifth Test in Dharamsala, it is likely that the young batter will be replaced by the senior batter.
