Kieron Pollard starred in West Indies’ comprehensive series victory and became the second player after Yuvraj Singh to smash six sixes in an over in T20 internationals. Pollard did so against spinner Akila Dananjaya and top-scored with 38 off 11 balls to ace a tricky chase of 132. Following a victory in the shortest format, the men in the maroon also swept Sri Lanka in the three-match ODI series. Pollard will next head to India to participate in IPL 2021.

The Trinidad & Tobago all-rounder has been instrumental in Mumbai Indians’ success ever since joining the franchise in 2010. The 33-year old has played starring roles for Mumbai Indians in all five title victories. In 164 matches, he has 3023 runs at 29.93 alongside a strike rate of 149.88. Pollard also has 60 scalps and is a terrific fielder.

Meanwhile, below is Kieron Pollard’s Instagram post remembering his father:

He wrote a message “Rest easy, peacefully and gracefully #loveyoualways❤. Touched many hearts and souls . Will continue to make you proud . No more “tall boy” . I do know you are in a better place. #blessedandthankful
