“I met Mahi bhai and took a lot of tips from him. He taught me the technicalities involved in wicketkeeping and how to grab the ball well,” Abhishek Porel told TOI.

Abishek Porel Failed To Impress In The IPL 2023
Abishek Porel made his IPL debut for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the IPL 2023. The left-handed batter was named as a replacement for regular skipper Rishabh Pant. He represented the Capitals in four matches but failed to make an impact with the bat.
The 20-year-old scored just 33 runs in the four matches, with a dismal average of 8.25 and a strike rate of 106.45. The Bengal wicketkeeper batter is unlikely to be retained by the franchise ahead of the next edition of the world’s best T20 franchise league.
