I Would Rate Mohammad Rizwan As The Best Captain, I Will Rank Babar Azam Second – Shaheen Shah Afridi

Young Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi who was recently appointed as the new skipper of the Lahore Qalandars ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven has said that the wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan is the best captain and he added that he will rank the Pakistan National Cricket Team skipper Babar Azam second.

In the batting unit, the duo of Babar and Rizwan is the backbone of the Men In Green in all three formats of the game. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Shaheen Afridi has already become one of the best bowlers in the team and has delivered sensational performances consecutively for the Babar Azam-led side across all three formats.

Meanwhile, Afridi has said that he likes the personality of wicketkeeper-batsman Rizwan and highlighted that he has started his domestic competition journey with Rizwan.

“I like [Mohammad] Rizwan’s personality. I started playing domestic competition with him from KPK’s side and I would rate him as the best. Since Babar has done a fantastic job with the national team, I will rank him second,” said Shaheen Afridi as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.

Afridi further added that Babar is his favourite batsman and he opined that Babar is also the No.1. the batsman in the world. Talking about the captaincy of Babar, Shaheen Afridi said that he has done fantastically well as a skipper for the Men In Green. He stated:

“Babar Azam is my favourite batsman and he is the number one batter as well. He has done fantastically well as a captain for the national team and we are reaching new heights under him.”
