Cummins was the joint-highest wicket-taker in the series with veteran off-spinner Nathan Lyon as the duo picked 12 wickets each in the three Tests. Cummins claimed figures of 5/56 in the first innings of the series-decider in Lahore as Pakistan’s innings folded up at 268 and Australia eventually won by 115 runs to clinch the hard-fought Test series.

Brathwaite was the leading run-scorer in the three Tests between West Indies and England in the Caribbean. The 29-year-old accumulated 341 runs at 85.25 and faced 673 balls in the second Test in Barbados to deny England a chance of victory, it was the most balls faced by a West Indies batter in a single Test. West Indies won the third Test by 10 wickets to clinch the series 1-0.
