Rizwan went berserk against the bowlers in T20I cricket in 2021 and he emerged as the leading run-getter in the shortest format of the game. Also, Rizwan’s tally of 1326 T20I runs is the most by any player in a calendar year in the history of T20I cricket.

The most memorable knock of Mohammad Rizwan came in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 clash against arch-rivals India. Pakistan got the target of 152 runs to chase, which looked easy on paper, but the history was against Pakistan as they had never won the World Cup encounter against India and they were against the bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami.
