In the New Zealand tour of England, white-ball series, Tammy Beaumont emerged as the leading run-scorer with 113 runs in her bag including 97 runs knock in the opening game.

The 97 runs innings played by Tammy Beaumont at the County Ground, Chelmsford propelled England to their highest T20I total in 2021.

Beaumont dominated against the New Zealand bowlers in the match and smashed two back-to-back boundaries in the first over itself. She smashed 4 back-to-back boundaries to complete her fifty in 40 balls.

However, unfortunately, she was three runs short of a century as she was dismissed by Hayley Jensen, and England posted 184 runs on the board, which was more than enough, as the Nat Sciver-led England won the match by 46 runs.
