Australia Only Team That Can Knock India Off: Brad Hogg

While speaking to Revsportz, former Australia spinner Brad Hogg said that Australia is the only team that can knock India off in the ICC World Cup 2023.

“I think Australia is the only team that can knock India off in the World Cup. So I am confident with that. With the team we have got right here, that had success in the World Test Championship, having success in The Ashes, and they seems like a very switched on side”, Brad Hogg said.

The former leg spinner also spoke about Team India. Hogg said that India has a brilliant batting order but they need players like KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer in the middle.

“I think it’s gonna be a great contest. On looking at the Indian team, very explosive batting order, brilliant batting order. But can you put Iyer in there, is Rahul gonna be fit. That will be question. They will need KL Rahul.

And who is gonna be in middle-order. Either can have Jadeja or Axar Patel. Jadeja slightly better batter, Patel slightly better bowler. So that’s a question that might stay. Do you go with Thakur or Deepak Chahar. Deepak Chahar probably a better bowler, more economical. Thakur not so economical but better with the bat”, Hogg said.
