The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will host the 2023 World Cup amid speculation that Pakistan’s matches will be held in Bangladesh. The ICC denied all rumors of Bangladesh co-hosting the World Cup and backed India to host the marquee event.

Earlier reports from Pakistan stated the Men in Green played their matches at neutral venues in Bangladesh instead of India. It was reported that this action was taken after India’s decision not to visit Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023. The Men in Blue will play their matches in neutral venues, and other matches will be held in Pakistan.
