During an interaction on the SEN Cricket, the interviewer asked the 38-year-old about David Warner playing at number four rumors, to which Tim Paine confirmed it and said that that’s what he had heard from the Aussie camp.

I think David Warner can come in at no.4: Tim Paine
The 38-year-old said that Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh are hard hitters who can open, and David Warner’s inclusion at number four will make the middle order stronger since he can play well in front of the spinners.
Tim Paine said that it is a major point of talking inside the camp and the former player has heard it from a few people who are present inside the Aussie camp.
“It’s going to be imperative to get off to really fast starts and right now, Travis Head and Mitch Marsh are our most explosive players. I think Warner can come in at no.4. He’s a good player of spin, he’s fast between the wickets, he’s also got power and can control the innings. So I like having him in the middle order in those conditions. And I have heard that from a few people, that it’s certainly been talked about,” Tim Paine said.
While talking about the Aussie bowling attack, Tim Paine said that he can see Pat Cummins’ side using Cameron Green, Marcus Stoinis, and Glenn Maxwell.
“I can see us playing two quicks with Cam Green, Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell all playing,” Tim Paine added.
Australia will play their opening match of the tournament against Rohit Sharma-led India on October 8th at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
