Ravichandran Ashwin, who is the number one ICC Test bowler took to his official YouTube channel and said that both Ravindra Jadeja and himself can bat but the 34-year-old’s batting style is more efficient which is why he gets more calls from the selectors.

“It has so happened in recent times that the two quality spinners are Ravindra Jadeja and me and fortunately or unfortunately, both can bat. Jadeja’s batting form has been very good and that is why he has got the nod,” Ravichandran Ashwin said.
