India will play Australia in its opening match of the ODI World Cup 2023 on October 8 in Chennai, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC), which released the complete schedule on Wednesday in Mumbai.
At Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on October 15, Men in Blue will play their bitter rival Pakistan. The two teams will square off at an ICC event in October for the third year in a row; they previously faced off in the T20 World Cups 2021 (UAE) and 2022 (Australia).
The Men in Blue will play their nine opponents in nine different cities: Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Dharamsala, Lucknow, Kolkata, and Delhi.
