Pakistan opening batter Ahmed Shehzad opened up about his former Quetta Gladiators teammate Naseem Shah’s friendship with Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela. Ahmed Shehzad mentioned that he doesn’t know much about their friendship, but he sees no issue with it.

Earlier, Urvashi Rautela took to her social media handle to wish Naseem Shah on his birthday. She also congratulated Shah on being honoured with the honorary DSP rank in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. Naseem expressed his gratitude towards her for the kind gestures.

It Is His Personal Life Matter – Ahmed Shehzad

During his appearance on the Nadir Ali podcast, Ahmed Shehzad expressed uncertainty regarding the rumours surrounding Naseem and Urvashi on social media.

“I think I am not sure about this scenario. In today’s world, people do things like this as a publicity stunt. So I am not so sure,” Ahmed Shehzad said.

“I have not asked Naseem Shah either. It is his personal life matter. If at all he is friends with her, then I don’t think there should be any problems with it,” he added.

I’ll Only Play For Pakistan – Ahmed Shehzad

When asked about the team he would like to play for apart from Pakistan, Ahmed Shehzad expressed his admiration for New Zealand’s kits and players, but he would prefer to play for Pakistan.

“I like New Zealand’s kit. But hands down, I’ll only play for Pakistan. Even though there are a lot of things which can improve in Pakistan,” he continued.

“New Zealand’s players are very down to earth. The likes of Ross Taylor, Trent Boult, Tim Southee are quite humble,” he concluded.

Ahmed Shehzad concluded by stating his goal of making a comeback for the Pakistan cricket team. The right-handed opener remains determined to earn his place back in the national side despite not having played an international game since October 2019.
