Adam Zampa Hit A Pool Wall- Pat Cummins

During the IND vs AUS pre-match press conference, Australia skipper Pat Cummins revealed that Adam Zampa hit a boundary wall while swimming in the pool.

“He swam into the pool wall apparently. He had his eyes closed and thought he was swimming in a straight line and swam straight into the step of the pool”, Cummins said.

However, there were no injuries to the Aussie spinner. With the ouster of Ashton Agar, Azam Zampa has become a crucial and only primary spinner for Australia in the ICC World Cup 2023.

Whenever Team India plays in India, they have a huge crowd support. Cummins admitted that the crowd will be noisy and one-sided when they take on India.

“The home crowd’s going to be noisy and very one-sided. It’s always tough playing against someone on their home ground, but with that also comes pressure. There are a billion fans that are going to be watching closely, cheering them on”.

“If we win that’s awesome, if not, we know where we stand and maybe we need to change a few things. It should be a cracker,” Cummins further added.

For Australia, Marcus Stoinis is expected to miss the clash against India due to an injury. He has yet to regain his fitness to be back on the field. India has faced a setback in the form of Shubman Gill. The Indian opener has fallen ill and is expected to be rested in the tournament opener.
