India National Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma looked extremely disappointed after getting out for a duck against Australia National Cricket Team in the ongoing World Cup game and his wife Ritika Sajdeh looked heartbroken.
The Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team and Pat Cummins-led Australia National Cricket Team are facing off each other in the 5th Match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai on Sunday, October 8.
Chasing a modest total in the match, India were off to a horrible start and it was such a start that made fans remember India’s forgettable ICC World Cup 2019 semi-final game against New Zealand.
Mitchell Starc cleaned up Ishan Kishan for a duck in the first over and Josh Hazlewood dismissed Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer for 0 in the second over to leave India tottering at 2/3.

Rohit Sharma was trapped LBW by Josh Hazlewood on the third ball of the 2nd over. The pacer bowled a fuller-length ball that shaped in and struck Rohit in the pads. The umpire raised his finger and declared the batter out.
The Indian captain challenged the on-field umpire’s decision and took a DRS. The replays showed that there was no connection between the bat and the ball and the ball would have clipped the top of the leg stump.
As the decision was displayed on the screen, Rohit Sharma looked extremely dejected and the camera panned towards Rohit’s wife who was left heartbroken after the dismissal.
