Rohit, who has scored 84 sixes in his Test career, has a chance to go past the legendary opener. The 37-year-old batter needs to hit 7 more sixes to surpass Sehwag's massive milestone.
Sehwag slammed 90 sixes in 103 Test matches in his illustrious career. The former opener scored 8,503 runs at an average of 49.43, including 23 centuries and 31 half-centuries. MS Dhoni (78), Sachin Tendulkar (69), and Ravindra Jadeja (64) are in third, fourth, and fifth places in the list of batters.

Yashasvi Jaiswal Eyes Brendon McCullum's Test Record
Young Indian batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal is close to setting a record for the most sixes in a calendar year in Test cricket. He is just eight sixes away from surpassing the record of 33 sixes held by Brendon McCullum in 2014.
The left-handed batter has hit 26 sixes this year, same with Ben Stokes, who has also hit 26 sixes. In six matches this year, Jaiswal has scored 740 runs at an average of 74.00, with a highest score of 214*. He has also hit 74 fours.
