Jasprit Bumrah displayed his magnificent death bowling skills in the ongoing match 17 of the ICC World Cup 2023 against Bangladesh. The pacer delivered his trademark yorker as well at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
Jasprit Bumrah removed Mahmadullah with a pinpoint yorker and it???s fair to say that he saved his team some crucial runs at the end. The Bangladesh batter was looking really threatening but his stay at the crease by cut short by the brilliance of the Indian pacer.
It happened during the last over of the game when Jasprit Bumrah bowled a full ball at the stumps. Mahmudullah had opened himself as he attempted to clear the left foot, but the ball crashed past the inside edge to hit the middle stump.

Mahmudullah batted beautifully as he scored 46 runs off 36 balls. His knock made sure that Bangladesh went past 250 runs. He didn???t get the desired support from other batters. Bangladesh wasted a good start as the middle order couldn???t capitalize on the start they got.
IND vs BAN: Jasprit Bumrah takes wickets as India restrict Bangladesh to 256 runs
Bangladesh were off to a blistering start as Litton Das (66) and Tanzid Hasan (51) added 93 runs for the opening partnership. However, after that, they lost wickets at regular intervals. Towhid Hriody (16), and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (3) tried to get going but failed.
Mushfiqur Rahim (38) and Mahmudullah (46) then batted well in the end and made sure that their side was in the game. Their valiant effort powered Bangladesh to a total of 256 runs.
For India, Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers as he returned with the figures of 2/41. Apart from him, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj also picked two wickets. Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur also bagged one wicket each.
The bowlers were right on the money after the opening partnership. They bowled good lengths and lines and put the opposition under pressure. India would be looking to win their 4th consecutive game of the tournament. They have won three out of their three games and are currently no. 1 on the points table.
