The IND vs ENG fifth and final Test will be played in Dharamsala from March 7-11. The match starts at 7.30 pm IST. India have already won the series and are leading 3-1. England, on the other hand, are staring at a 4-1 series defeat.
After the first test loss in Hyderabad, Team India won the next three Test matches on the trot. They won the second Test in Vizag by 106 runs, the third Test in Rajkot by 434 runs, and the fourth Test in Ranchi by five wickets. They are now topping the WTC points table while England languishes at eighth.
The final Test in Dharamsala is another opportunity for Team India to put in an impressive performance and win the series 4-1. The next Test is the 100th respectively for R Ashwin and Jonny Bairstow. Jasprit Bumrah is also set to return to the Dharamsala Test after being rested from the Ranchi Test.
There are likely changes in both camps expected for the fifth Test. India might bench Rajat Patidar in Dharmsala. On the other hand, there are talks of Gus Atkinson likely to replace Ollie Robinson in the lineup. James Anderson and Mark Wood might be the two other pacers. The top six might well remain the same for the visitors.
