Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli achieved an unwanted record during the match against England in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023. Virat Kohli equaled the legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar’s record for the most ducks for India across the three formats of the game.

Kohli registered a nine-ball duck in the 29th match of the World Cup at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday, October 29. It’s worth mentioning that this is Kohli’s first-ever duck in his ODI World Cup career. He also recorded his first duck in ODIs this year.

England’s bowlers troubled Kohli with tight lines and lengths. He tried to apply pressure to the bowlers with aggressive play, but Dawid Malan stopped a well-timed shot at covers. Kohli tried to clear the field with the next ball but ended up lobbing it to Ben Stokes.
