IND vs IRE: Aakash Chopra Makes His Predictions For Second T20I

Aakash Chopra has made his predictions for the IND vs IRE 2nd T20I in Dubin on Sunday. India won the first T20I by two wickets after rain played spoilsport during India’s chase. The young Indian team will look to secure the series on Sunday.

The BCCI has named a young Indian team with Jasprit Bumrah leading the side. He took two wickets in his very first over on his international return on Friday. He looked fit as well fielding the entire 20 overs after bowling his quota of four overs.

Aakash Chopra in his recent YouTube video has made his predictions ahead of the second T20I. He has backed Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh to take more than three wickets together with the ball.

“Bumrah and Arshdeep will together pick up more than three wickets. To be very honest, Arshdeep looked a little pale in the last match. He was especially expensive in the last two overs. He was okay at the start but is unable to take that many wickets. I expect him to pick up more wickets in these conditions. Bumrah is looking good,” Chopra said on his YouTube channel.

He next predicted the Indian top three to score more than 60 runs together against the Irish bowlers. The left-arm pacer Little played the IPL with Gujarat Titans earlier this year. He further said that the Indian batters will have a tough time against the Irish pacers.

“My second prediction is that India’s top three will together score more than 60 runs. Actually, they should score more but they will score more than 60, although it is also true that the opposition team’s fast bowling is not that bad, whether it is (Joshua) Little, (Mark) Adair, (Barry) McCarthy or (Craig) Young. So it will be testing but they should score that many runs.”

Aakash Chopra Backs India To Seal Series On Sunday

After making his predictions about the Indian team, Aakash Chopra shifted his focus to Ireland. He predicted Curtis Campher and Harry Tector to be amongst the runs for Ireland. Skipper Paul Stirling and former skipper Andrew Balbirnie scored 11 and 4 respectively in the first T20I.

“My third one is that Tector and Campher will together score more than 40 runs,” Chopra said on the Irish batting lineup.

He concluded by saying that India will win the match and the series saying “I am saying India will win the match today, which means they will seal the series in their favor today itself, that’s what I feel.”
