Yashasvi Jaiswal Is Hitting Sixes Off Short Balls But Getting Out To Short Balls As Well- Aakash Chopra

While speaking on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra spoke about Yashasvi Jaiswal’s connection with short balls. He highlighted that Jaiswal hits sixes off short balls and gets out to short balls as well.

“Yashasvi Jaiswal was trying to hit big-big shots and he got out to a short ball once again. He is hitting sixes off short balls but getting out to short balls as well. You are getting cut with the same sword that you use to cut,” the 45-year-old said.

However, Chopra also added that Jaiswal’s playing style is absolutely perfect.

“It is a fire that you are using to burn but are yourself getting burnt at times. So Yashasvi will have to keep this in mind. The good thing is that his playing style is absolutely perfect. He bats well and hits decently. He got out, Tilak Varma came, and he also got out to a short ball,” Chopra further said.

Meanwhile, India crushed Ireland by 33 runs in the 2nd T20I to grab an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. India piled up 185-5 in 1st innings. Later, they restricted Ireland to 152-8 in 20 overs, winning the match.
