Don’t Think Virat Kohli Can Do That Again – Haris Rauf
Earlier this year, Haris Rauf expressed his feelings about Kohli’s remarkable six, admitting that it hurt him personally. Rauf credited Kohli’s exceptional shot, mentioning that it’s unlikely to be repeated.
“Of course, it hurt when that went for a six. I didn’t say anything, but it hurt me personally. I thought something wrong had happened. Anyone who knows cricket knows what sort of a player he is. He has played that shot now; I don’t think he can do that again. Such shots are quite rare; you can’t hit them again and again. His timing was perfect, and it went for a six,” Haris Rauf said.
Kohli scored an unbeaten 82 off 53 deliveries, which led India to an unlikely victory. Despite a challenging start where India was at 31-4 in the seventh over, a remarkable 113-run partnership between Kohli and Hardik Pandya laid the foundation for a four-wicket win.
Virat Kohli will be seen in action when the Rohit Sharma-led team takes on the Netherlands in their next match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, November 12.
