IND vs PAK: List Of Match Officials For India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 Clash Revealed - Reports

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the umpires list for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 as per the reports in Times of India (TOI). The tournament will run from 30th August to 17th September. A total of 13 games will be played out of which 4 will be played in Pakistan whereas 9 matches will be played in Sri Lanka.

The opening game will be played between Pakistan and Nepal at Multan and for that match, England’s Chris Gaffaney along with Masudur Rahman will be the on-field umpires. Australia’s David Boon has been assigned the duty of match referee for the tournament opener.

The second match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in Pallekele on 31st August will see India’s J Madangopal as one of the onfield umpires. Whereas Javgal Srinath will be the match referee for the game.

For the much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan, Richard Illingworth and Ruchira Palliyaguruge will be the on-field umpires. Australia’s Paul Wilson will be the TV umpire whereas Javgal Srinath will be the match referee. The game between the two arch-rivals will be played on 2nd September in Kandy.

Paul Wilson along with Ruchira Palliyaguruge will be the on-field umpires for the match between India and Nepal. The match will be played at Pallekele on 4th September. Following that Super 4 stage will take place and the list of umpires for that will be announced shortly.
