IND vs PAK: Rohit Sharma Achieves A Unique Record Against Shaheen Afridi In Colombo

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma lost the toss and they were invited to bat first in Colombo in the Super 4 game against Pakistan. This is Pakistan’s second Super 4 game while the first for India.
After the previous match between the teams was rained out, there was a huge anticipation regarding this contest.
The two Indian openers have looked aggressive right from the very first over. Rohit hit Shaheen for a six off the final ball in the very first over. In the process, he became the first batter ever in ODIs to hit the Pakistan pace for a six in his opening over in 50-over cricket.

Shubman Gill batting at the other end, has also looked to attack the Pakistan left-am pacer. The likes of Rohit, Gill, and Kohli were all dismissed cheaply in the previous game against Pakistan. While Shaheen accounted for Gill and Kohli’s wickets, Harid Rauf dismissed Gill.
India have made two changes to their playing XI while Pakistan just one. KL Rahul has replaced Shreyas Iyer who is out with a back spasm. Jasprit Bumrajh replaced Mohammed Shami. For Pakistan, Faheem Ashraf has replaced Mohammad Nawaz in the XI.
