Mohammad Amir was absolutely pumped up after Suryakumar Yadav's dismissal in the ongoing game between India and Pakistan at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

The world number one T20I batsman walked out to bat in the eighth over when India were in a precarious situation. The Men in Blue were reeling at 58 for 3 when Suryakumar Yadav joined Rishabh Pant in the middle. The onus was on the experienced batter to bail India out of trouble.

He started well by playing a fine straight drive for a four. However, the right-handed batsman did not last long and departed after scoring only 7 runs off 8 balls. On the second ball of the 12th over, he ended up miscuing Haris Rauf's delivery straight to Mohammad Amir at mid-off. After taking the catch, Amir looked absolutely pumped up and was seen slamming the ball angrily on the ground.

Talking about the game, India were reeling at 99 for 7 in the 16th over at the time of writing this report. Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh were batting in the middle for the Men in Blue. India will be hoping that Hardik Pandya stays till the end and guides them to a good total.

Most of India's batters have failed to do well in the game so far. Barring Rishabh Pant, no other player has managed to score more than 25 runs. While Pant scored 42 runs, Axar Patel is the second-highest run-scorer with 20. India lost the wickets of Virat Kohli (4) and Rohit Sharma (13) inside the powerplay before Pant and Axar steadied the ship.

After Axar's departure, Suryakumar and Pant added 31 runs for the fourth wicket before the former's dismissal opened the floodgates. India suffered an inexplicable collapse and were reduced to 96 for 7 from 89 for 3.
