Shaheen Afridi was breathing fire with the new ball as he made Indian batters look clueless. The left-arm pacer displayed an exhibition of high-class swing balling and left the Men in Blue in the doldrums, testing both outside as well as the inside edge. 

The wicket of Indian captain Rohit Sharma was the best among the wickets that Shaheen Afridi got today. The left-arm pacer set the batter staggering well and bowled an unplayable delivery after that to see the back of the Indian opener.

Shaheen Afridi bowled two outswingers and then brought on back in. He bowled a length delivery around off and the ball nipped in sharply to beat Rohit Sharma’s defence. The ball went between the bat and the pad to toss up the off stump and send the Indian skipper packing. 

However, the outswingers that he bowled today, caught even Indian ace batter Virat Kohli by surprise. The right-hander, who was sitting in the dugout was bamboozled with the way the ball moved. He had his eyes wide open and the video of that went viral on the internet.

After taking the wicket of Rohit Sharma, Shaheen Afridi in the very next over removed Virat Kohli as well. He bowled a length delivery outside off to which the batter tried to punch through the off-side. But he ended up getting an inside edge that deflected to hit the stumps.

As Shaheen Afridi removed both the mainstays of the Indian batting lineup in the ongoing game, he became the first bowler to dismiss both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli ‘bowled’ in the same innings. 

Coming to the match, Pakistan left India tottering at 66/4. But after that, Ishan Kishan (82) and Hardik Pandya (89) stitched a valiant 138-run partnership to bail India out of trouble. Their valuable contributions powered India to a total of 266 runs.
