IND vs SL: "That's Destruction & Annihilation" - Fans React As India Bundle Out Sri Lanka For 50 In Asia Cup 2023 Final

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 50 in the Asia Cup 2023 final after opting to bat first in Colombo on Sunday. Mohammed Siraj took 6/21 with Hardik Pandya taking 3-3 and Jasprit Bumrah starting the damage with the first wicket.
This is Sri Lanka’s second-lowest ODI total as India picked all 10 wickets with pace in Asia Cup 2023. Pakistan pacers had taken all 10 wickets earlier in the tournament against India.
Siraj who took his maiden fifer broke several records in the process. He now has the fourth-best figures for India in ODI cricket. Former Indian skipper Anil Kumble leads the list with 6/12 against West Indies in 2023. Siraj also now has the best ODI figures against Sri Lanks surpassing Waqar Younis’ 6/26 in Sharjah in 1990.
The Sri Lankan batters were all at sea against the Indian pacers. None of them could withstand the threat from the three Indian pacers. Siraj especially was unplayable. 50 by Sri Lanka was also the lowest total against India among the test-playing nations.

Virat Kohli will be the happiest person right now, he has shown the trust, backing & faith in Siraj than anyone during his tough phase in 2019.

Respect for RCB goes up everytime I see such performances, still teams can't catch them. SL 50 all out, RCB keeps the only record they have.

Shambolic by Sri Lanka to be bowled out for a measly 50 after electing to bat first. Not to take anything away from India’s pace bowlers, specially Siraj, who were just superb

A spell to remember for ages by @mdsirajofficial ???? His impeccable line, length, and nerves of steel single-handedly dismantled the Sri Lankan batting lineup. @hardikpandya7 wrapped up the last two wickets to restrict the Lankans to a frugal 50!!#IndvSL #AsiaCupFinal

Kusal Mendis with 17 from 34 was the top-scorer of the Sri Lankan innings. Dushan Hemantha was unbeaten on 13 as the Lankan were bowled out for 50. After Siraj’s spell at the top, Hardik Pandya cleaned up the tail with figures of 3/3.
Pandya dismissed Dunith Wellalage (8), Pramod Madushan (1), and Matheesha Pahirana to bring the curtains down in the Sri Lankan innings.
India now need just 51 runs to win the Asia Cup 2023 final from 50 overs. The bowling performance from the Indian bowlers was a statement ahead of the big World Cup. Siraj was the quickest to get to five wickets. He got his first five wickets in just 16 deliveries.
Mohammed Siraj along with Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav, three of India’s first-choice bowlers, were rested from their last Super 4 game against Bangladesh which they lost. Making a comeback into the side, he has made an impact straight away. Siraj is also a part of India’s 15-man World Cup squad.
