After a disappointing start to the five-game T20I against the Caribbeans, India gained momentum and won two back-to-back matches, and squared the series at 2-2.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman can be something as great as a Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly: Robin Uthappa
While speaking on Jio Cinema after India’s win, the former India player applauded the young opening duo and said that Yashasvi and Shubman are going to be a very dangerous pair.
Later, Uthappa compared the duo with Indian cricket legends, Sourav Ganguly and Sourav and added that if the youngsters continue to perform like that they can be vicious like the Ganguly-Tendulkar partnership.
“Everyone who plays for India are equally capable and have equal ability but the way Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill bat in tandem; they can bat for each other as well and they need to find that space. If they do, they are going to be a very dangerous pair for India in years to come. It will be a hot pair and they can be something as great as a Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly opening the batting,” Uthappa told.
Uthappa further added that Gill and Jaiswal need correct a few things and if they can do it, then the duo can bring great things for India.
“They need to figure a few things out and if they do, they will do great things for India,” he added.
The Men in Blues will square off against West Indies in the series decider match on Sunday (August 13) at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Florida. The match will kick off at 8:00 PM IST.
