An unhappy Indian team management has reportedly expressed its frustration over planning travel from Trinidad to Barbados after the second IND vs WI Test at the Queen’s Park Oval.

Team India have reportedly requested the BCCI not to book night flights after they had to wait at the airport for hours due to the delayed flight. According to a report from the Indian Express, Team India members were supposed to fly at 11 pm. However, the delay meant they could catch the flight only at 3 am and reached Barbados early in the morning

The players were tired after the second Test and unsurprisingly they were miffed after the flight delay. Following the incident, Team India has requested the BCCI for better planning when they travel to the next destination.

The team management has expressed the desire to fly in the morning instead of late at night. The report also added that the top players have requested the Indian team management for a day off from practice in Barbados after the flight delay.

“They had left the hotel by 8:40 pm for the airport and had to wait for a long time at the airport. The team management has requested us to book a morning flight instead of late-night flights as players want some rest post-game. The BCCI has agreed to it and is planning to revise the next schedule,” a source in the BCCI told the news outlet.
