It’s Still Shocking To Me – Mike Bandar
Mike Bandar, co-founder of Hopper HQ, expressed surprise at the remarkable growth of global superstars’ earnings on Instagram over the years.
“It’s still shocking to me that the annual money made on the platform increases every year. Yet, what fascinates me more is the consistent players at the top,” Bandar said.
“It’s apparent that the glitz and glamour of traditional celebrities still holds power over the new ‘influencer’ status. Ronaldo and Messi not only dominate the pitch, but also the digital sphere as it’s clear they personify the power of personal branding and the influence it holds over us ‘ordinary’ people,” he added.
Virat Kohli was rested for the last two ODIs and the ongoing T20 series against the West Indies. The right-handed batter will next be seen in action during the upcoming edition of the Asia Cup. His presence will be crucial for India in the ODI World Cup 2023, which will be held at home.
