IND vs WI: Watch - Virat Kohli Wins Hearts Again As He Helps India On Field As Substitute

Virat Kohli never shies away from helping the team and he showed it once again on Tuesday (August 2) during the third and final ODI between India and West Indies in Trinidad.

For the second game in a row in the series, Virat Kohli along with captain Rohit Sharma was rested. The right-handed batsman did play in the first ODI but did not have much to do. After India bowled out West Indies for just 114, Virat Kohli did not bat as the tourists won the game by 5 wickets.

And as he was rested for the second and third ODIs, Virat Kohli made sure to remain available to help the team whenever it was needed. During the second game in Barbados, the former India skipper was seen carrying the drinks for his teammates.

Virat Kohli, on Tuesday, once again came out to help the team as Hardik Pandya & Co. fought it out against West Indies. The star player came out on the field for a while as a substitute fielder. He, however, did not stay in the field for long. The veteran batsman came out in the 18th over and went off the field after the 20th over.

India thrash West Indies:

Talking about the game, India thrashed West Indies by 200 runs to clinch the three-match ODI series. After losing the second ODI, the Men in Blue bounced back in style with a clinical all-round performance. Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, Sanju Samson, and Hardik Pandya scored fifties to guide the team to 351 for 5.

In reply, West Indies were all out for just 151 with Shardul Thakur and Mukesh Kumar picking 4 and 3 wickets respectively. Both the teams will now take on each other in a five-match T20I series.
