Indian bowling coach Paras Mhambrey is happy with the progress that the team has shown after losing the first two T20Is. They won the third T20I by seven wickets and came back in the series. They now need to win the final two T20Is to win the series.
India lost the first T20I as they could not chase 150. In the second T20I, they failed to defend 152. A Suryakumar Yadav special handed them a win in the third T20I to keep the series alive. Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya also played their roles to perfection.
Speaking to the reporters ahead of the fourth T20I, Mhambrey explained why it is important for India to be in a must-win situation. He further backed the ability of the players who are a part of the team.

It’s Up And Forward For India From Here: Paras Mhambrey
“Looking at the way we have played that, firstly we know that we have skills to take it forward. With the ability that we have right now in all departments, we tick all the right boxes. So, looking at how we played the last game, it’s only one way forward from here, and that is up and forward. Sometimes, it’s nice to have situations where you have no option but just to bring your A-game to the table, and that’s what you look at” said the Indian bowling coach ahead of the 4th T20I.
He further said that losses in the first two T20Is do not bother him. He hailed India for being competitive in the first two games but added that they could not seize the key moments.
“I’m extremely happy with the way we fought back. In the first two games, I don’t think were far too behind. We had the opportunities but unfortunately, we couldn’t seize them. Had we done that, the results would have been different. So, I’m not worried in that way. We were very much on track, just a couple of instances we lost and couldn’t seize (the win)” Mhambrey added.
The Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground at Lauderhill in Florida will host the final two T20Is on Saturday (August 12) and Sunday (August 13).
