Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag has said that the Indian team doesn’t need to learn anything from teams like New Zealand and England.

Sehwag believes that the current Indian team is capable enough to defeat both New Zealand and England on any day. However, he feels that India can definitely learn to play positively in white ball cricket as it is the format of brave players.

Responding to a fan’s query about what India can learn from England and New Zealand, on his Facebook Watch show Virugiri Dot Com, Virender Sehwag asserted:

India doesn’t need to learn anything from them. India are a good team and can beat both England and New Zealand on any day, but one thing they can definitely learn is to be positive and play positively because T20 format or white ball cricket, it’s format of brave players and you have to take risks, you need to express yourself. India have managed to do that well in the past, Now again the time has come to repeat it.”
