Here we are taking a look at India's highest team score in all the formats. Over the years, some of the greatest batsmen in the history of the game have plied their services for Team India.

Unsurprisingly, India have one of the most dominant batting lineups in the game for decades now. Over the years, the team has produced several memorable performances with the bat across all formats.

India's highest team score - Test:

India's highest Test score came against England in the 2016 Chennai Test when they piled up 759/7 declared. Batting first in the game, England scored 477 runs thanks to Moeen Ali's 146-run knock. Joe Root, Liam Dawson, and Adil Rashid scored fifties as well.

In reply, India went on to score 759/7 before declaring their innings. The star of the show was Karun Nair, as the right-handed batsman smashed an unbeaten 303 runs. He became just the second Indian after the legendary Virender Sehwag to score a triple century in Tests.

KL Rahul impressed with the bat as well, although his knock ended heartbreakingly as he was out for 199 runs. Parthiv Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ravichandran Ashwin scored fifties too. In the second innings, England were bowled out for 207 runs as India won the game by an innings and 75 runs. Jadeja starred with the ball, taking 7 for 48.

India's highest team score - ODI:

India's highest team score in ODIs is 418/5 against West Indies in 2011. Former India opener Virender Sehwag starred with the bat, scoring 219 runs in 149 balls with the help of 25 fours and 7 sixes. He and Gautam Gambhir gave India a solid start by adding 176 runs for the first wicket.

While Gambhir was out for 67 runs, Sehwag made the most of the start and went on to become the second batsman after Sachin Tendulkar to score an ODI double century. Suresh Raina scored a fifty too. India went on to bowl out West Indies for 265 runs to win the game by 153 runs.

India's highest team score - T20I:

India's highest T20I score came against Bangladesh in 2024 when they posted a huge total of 297/6. Opener Sanju Samson starred with the bat, scoring 111 runs off just 47 balls with the help of 11 fours and 8 sixes. Suryakumar Yadav made a big impact with the bat as well, scoring 75 runs off just 35 balls.

The likes of Riyan Parag (34) and Hardik Pandya (47) impressed with the bat too to help India post 297. India went on to win the game by 133 runs after restricting Bangladesh to 164/7.
