The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is doing a great job ahead of the Test series against the England National Cricket Team. As per the reports in RevSportz, it is learned that the governing body will soon be announcing the squad for the India A games ahead of the main series.
India National Cricket Team is all set to lock horns with the England National Cricket Team in the five-match Test series. The series will begin on 20th July at Headingley in Leeds, and it will also mark the new edition of the ICC World Test Championship.

However, ahead of the series, A team will be locking horns with England A in a two-match four-day contest. This will act as a vital preparation for the players ahead of the high-octane series, as some of the main players of the Indian team are expected to play in the series.
The reports claimed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is all set to announce the squad of the A team in the next couple of days. The first match will be played from 30th May, followed by the second game set to be played from June 6 at the County Ground in Northampton.
It is expected that some of the domestic performers in Karun Nair, Sai Sudharsan, Devdutt Padikkal, and others are all set to be added to the A team. They would want to perform well for the side as it might open gates for them in the main team for the main series.

The reports also provided an update about the main squad. It is learned that the team for the five-match Test series against the England National Cricket Team will be announced around May 19th or 20th, or 21st. The BCCI will also name the new captain at that time.
The need for a new captain arose after Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from Test cricket. The premier batter made the decision public through a social media post, and now it is expected that Shubman Gill will be named as the next Test skipper.
